Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs crawfish
  • 2 lbs wheat grains
  • 2 pcs carrots
  • 1 pc onion
  • 1 pc parsley roots
  • 1 pc celery roots
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add crawfish. Cook for 20 minutes.
  • Rinse wheat grains and soak them in water overnight.
  • The next day, rinse the grains and cook them on low heat for 2 hours.
  • Finely chop onion, carrots, parsley, and celery roots and sauté them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  • Add vegetables to the grains and cook for another 30 minutes.
  • Add crawfish to the kulesh and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt to taste.
