Ingredients

  • 2 cans high-quality canned tuna
  • 2 pcs hard boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 pc large tomato diced
  • 1 pc cucumber diced
  • ½ pc red onion finely chopped
  • lettuce leaves as much as you need to serve
  • Caesar salad dressing as needed for dressing
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Start by draining the canned tuna well and transferring it to a large mixing bowl. Use a fork to break the tuna into smaller flakes.
  • Add the diced tomato, diced cucumber, chopped red onion, and hard-boiled eggs to the bowl with the tuna.
  • Pour Caesar salad dressing over the tuna and vegetable mixture. The amount of dressing you use depends on your preference for creaminess; start with a few tablespoons and adjust as needed. You can also add salt and pepper to taste, but be mindful of the salt content in the dressing.
  • Gently toss all the ingredients together until they are well combined. Be careful not to overmix, as you want to maintain some texture in the salad.
  • Cover the tuna salad and refrigerate it for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld. Chilling the salad also enhances the overall taste.
  • When you’re ready to serve, you can either place the tuna salad on a bed of lettuce leaves or use it as a sandwich filling, as you prefer.
