Ingredients
  

  • 3 pcs eggs
  • 3 pcs medium-sized apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup frozen red currants
  • ½ cup frozen black currants
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
 

  • Beat the egg and sugar in a bowl with a whisk or mixer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the sour cream and beat for another 5 minutes. Quench the soda with vinegar, add to the bowl and whisk for another 3 minutes.
  • Wash and dry the apples. Cut them into thin slices.
  • Add the flour to the dough and whisk until homogeneous.
  • Pour half of the dough for charlotte into an oiled mold and lay the apples.
  • Then lay out the frozen currants.
  • Pour the rest of the dough on top and bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 350℉ (180°C) degrees.
  • Check the readiness with a toothpick. To do this, pierce the pie with a toothpick, if it remains dry, it’s ready! Turn the mold on a plate and remove the product from the mold.
  • The charlotte can be served to the table without decorating. Or you can let the charlotte cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
