Cottage Cheese Casserole
A tasty and well-balanced dessert that is easy to prepare for your family.
Ingredients
- 2 pcs eggs
- 9 oz cottage cheese about 1 cup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp semolina
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix the semolina and milk and let it stand for about 10 minutes to allow the semolina to swell.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until well combined. Then, add the cottage cheese, salt, and the swollen semolina mixture. Mix everything together until you have a smooth and well-incorporated mixture.
- Preheat your oven to 390℉ (200°C).
- Grease a baking mold with margarine and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs or semolina. This will prevent the casserole from sticking to the mold.
- Place the mold with the mixture into the preheated oven. Be sure not to open the oven during baking, as this can cause the casserole to sink. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
- Once baked, remove the cottage cheese casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly. You can serve it warm as a delicious dessert or snack.
