Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz bread loaf
  • 3 pcs large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp hmeli-suneli or your preferred spices
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Slice the bread into slices that are approximately ½ inch thick.
  • In a deep bowl, beat the eggs until homogeneous. Add the milk and mix again. Season with salt, black pepper, and hmeli-suneli (or your choice of spices).
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.
  • Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture on both sides.
  • Place the coated bread slices in the hot oil and fry for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown.
  • Remove the fried croutons and place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
