Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 Β½ cups cooked lobster meat chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ΒΌ cup unsaltet buttet
  • ΒΌ cup all-purpose flour
  • ΒΌ cup fresh chives chopped
  • Β½ cup breadcrumbs optional for topping
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream, ensuring there are no lumps. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the cheddar, Gruyere, and Parmesan cheeses until smooth.
  • Fold in the cooked macaroni and lobster meat, making sure everything is well coated in the cheese sauce.
  • Preheat the broiler. Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy crust.
