You can bake potatoes in various ways, but the fastest option will be a dish cooked in foil. During baking, the vegetable is impregnated with the seasoning, which turns out incredibly tasty. Baked potatoes with cheese in foil are prepared quickly, dish is original and uncomplicated, so a novice hostess can cope with the cooking process. Ingredients
  

  • 8 pcs medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup grated hard cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • parsley, dill for serving

Instructions
 

  • Potatoes should be chosen of medium size. Wash the potatoes well, as we will bake them in the skin, and dry them with a paper towel or kitchen towel.
  • Place each potato on a piece of foil, salt and pepper, and drizzle with ½ tsp of vegetable oil.
  • Wrap each potato tightly in the foil, curling it over the top. Place in a baking dish or on a baking tray.
  • Bake the potatoes in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at 370°F (190°C). After this time, check the readiness of piercing with a fork or knife, if the potatoes will be easily pierced, they are ready.
  • Unfold the top of the foil, make a cut on each potato, and knead it a little on top with a teaspoon. Put a piece of butter, chopped garlic, and a little salt into the cut.
  • Sprinkle the potatoes with medium or fine-grated cheese on top and put them back in the oven at the same temperature for another 15 minutes.
  • Serve unusually fragrant and tasty potatoes baked with cheese in foil, immediately to the table in hot form, decorating or sprinkling with greens. You can eat potatoes, if you wish, directly from the foil, without peeling the skin – so tastier

Notes

  • Scrub the potatoes under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Since you’ll be baking them in their skin, it’s essential to have clean potatoes.
  • One of the time-saving perks of this recipe is that you don’t need to peel the potatoes. The skin adds a delightful texture and flavor to the dish.
  • The butter plays a crucial role in making the potatoes tender and flavorful. Use good-quality butter for the best results.
  • When wrapping the potatoes in foil, ensure you create a tight seal to trap in the steam and flavors. This helps in cooking the potatoes to perfection.
  • To check if the potatoes are ready, insert a fork or knife into one of them after 45 minutes of baking. If it slides in easily, they are done. If not, give them a few more minutes.
