Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ¾ lb fettuccini pasta
  • ½ cup white wine Cardonnay recomended
  • 1 cup heavy wipping cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ pc onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley or basyl for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the fettuccini pasta according to package instructions until tender yet firm to the bite.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high, add the shrimp, and cook until they turn opaque about 3 minutes.
  • Pour in the white wine, let it reduce slightly, then lower the heat and add the heavy whipping cream. Let it simmer until the sauce starts to thicken, 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste
  • Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the creamy shrimp sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly
  • Serve the creamy shrimp pasta garnished with fresh parsley or basil and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
