Banana Bread Recipe
Such a flavorful bread, similar to a muffin, is perfect for breakfast with a cup of tea or coffee, or a daytime snack with a glass of milk.
Ingredients
- 4 pcs bananas
- 3 pcs eggs
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp leavening agent
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel bananas from peel and excess fiber, and cut into a deep bowl. Mash with a fork until smooth.
- Beat the eggs into the bowl and beat with a mixer for 2 minutes.
- Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and vegetable oil to the bowl. Mix the ingredients with a whisk or mixer.
- Pour the sifted flour and baking powder into the bowl and stir the dough until the ingredients are combined. You do not need to knead the dough for a long time. It is important to sift the flour to oxygenate it. Then the pastry will be airy and will rise well when baked.
- Cover the baking dish with baking paper and pour the prepared batter into it. Shake the baking dish lightly so that the batter spreads more firmly into the dish.
- Peel the remaining banana and cut it into circles. Place the banana slices on top of the dough, you can deepen them slightly. Put the mold with banana bread in a preheated oven to 350℉ (180°C) for 40 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden skewer, if it comes out dry from the middle of the bread, then it is ready.
- Take the finished banana bread out of the oven and let it cool. Then remove it from the mold and cut it into portioned pieces.
Notes
- Bananas are suitable for this bake, but the riper they are, the more flavorful the bake will be. Use refined, odorless butter.
- The chosen mold can also be greased with butter and sprinkled with flour and put in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- You can use a silicone mold. In this case you do not need to grease or line it with paper.
