Ingredients
- 1 can whole peeled tomatoes 28 oz
- 1 pcs medium onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat
- Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent about 5 minutes.
