Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium size beets
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Rinse each beet under running water using a brush, dry with paper towels, wrap in foil, and bake in an oven heated to 350-375°F (180-190°С) for about 50-60 minutes. Then, remove the beets from the oven, unwrap them, and let them cool.
  • After cooling, peel and rinse the beets in cold water. Grate them coarsely and add to a salad bowl. Optionally, cut the beets into thin strips or dice them.
  • Add the minced garlic to the salad bowl with the beets. Adjust the amount of garlic according to your preference, starting with one clove, stirring, tasting, and adding more if needed.
  • Add mayonnaise to the salad. The beet salad turns out juicy with just the right amount of mayonnaise. Mix well, let it cool slightly, and it's ready to be served. For added presentation, garnish with chopped parsley or dill.
